Muslims and Christians to Celebrate the 4th Annual Milad-un-Nabi Honoring the Birth of the Holy Last Messenger Muhammad
(Eternal Peace and Blessing be upon him)
(Owego, New York) - The United Muslim Christian Forum (UMCF) is pleased to announce its 4th Annual Interfaith Program celebrating the birth, or Milad-un-Nabi, of the Last Holy Messenger of Almighty God, Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) who lived and taught all to practice the utmost of human rights. UMCF will hold this auspicious event at the Owego Treadway Inn in Owego, New York on Saturday, April 16th at 1 o’clock in the afternoon replete with a panel of dynamic Muslim, Christian, and Collegiate speakers. The annual program is open to the public and continues its history of stunning entertainment with melodious hymns and delicious appetizers served afterwards. It will be a joyous, entertaining, and enlightening afternoon that will leave those in attendance truly inspired.
Always intertwined, UMCF is embarking in its 4th annual program not only to celebrate the life and work of the Holy Last Messenger sent to all mankind, Muhammad, but to concurrently recognize the second to the last messenger sent by the One Almighty God, Jesus, son of the blessed Chaste Mary – two luminous aspects of the same reality, peace be upon them all.
Foremost in the mission of the United Muslim Christian Forum is the promulgation of the spirit of unity shared through the belief in One Almighty Creator and adherence to the universal code of morality, good conduct, and sincere love for humanity found in the Ten Commandments. UMCF is committed to working tirelessly to establish and promote a pro-active platform of peace and fellowship between all people by living the dictum ‘Mankind is the Family of God’.
UMCF cordially extends an open invitation to the 4th Annual Celebration of the Birth of the Holy Last Messenger Muhammad (peace upon him), a most memorable occasion as devotees of great faiths are enlightened and motivated to come together in the quest for world peace.
The United Muslim Christian Forum was established by His Eminence, El Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani, Vice Chancellor of the International Qur’anic Open University, to recognize similarities between Muslims and Christians, diminish differences and seek a new solid foundation of joint respect based on the unchallenged commandments of God and love for the blessed Messengers of God (peace upon them all).
